The Deutsche Bank Graduate Programme is a year-long comprehensive programme designed to provide you with exposure to a range of fascinating projects and ongoing professional and technical training to develop the skills you need to grow your career. The Corporate Bank is a market leader in cash management, lending, trade finance, trust and agency services, securities services and risk management for FX and Rates. We have deep client relationships and our client solutions relate directly to the real economy.
Hiring Areas
Relationship & Transaction Management: The Relationship & Transaction Management Team looks to accomplish Deutsche Bank’s commitment to client-centricity by contributing to strong revenue growth by enhancing the overall client experience. This role will primarily focus on Cash Management Services for Clients in Australia and will involve handling of day-to-day client queries relating to transactions, coordinating with back-office teams for transaction investigation, urgent payments and incoming collections. The role will also involve guiding Clients on using our Online Banking services and manage relevant Documentation. It also involves identifying potentialities of existing clients in terms of revenue contribution while also performing other administrative tasks to support functions within RTM.
About the role:
Your training starts with a local cross-divisional induction followed by an invaluable Global induction (later in the year) that will give you a broad understanding of our business. Our senior leadership will share their vision for Deutsche Bank with you.
After that you will participate in our Divisional Technical Training and Professional Skills Training as part of a 12 month comprehensive continuous learning journey, with opportunities for networking throughout and a supportive wellbeing programme.
Then you'll work alongside, and learn from, exceptionally talented colleagues in a friendly, supportive culture where people are open and approachable. Working on our day-to-day business as well as on special projects, you will contribute to the innovation of new ideas to help our clients achieve their financial goals. There’s a range of work and clients that will enable you to make an early impact on what we do best – generating inventive, effective solutions for our clients.
What we look for:
We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable with excellent communication skills. They have degrees in many different disciplines. Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background. Our comprehensive training programmes will give you all the technical knowledge you’ll need to build a career with us.
To be eligible for the 2025 Graduate Programme you must:
- Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st January 2024 and 31st January 2025.
- Be able to start full time work in February 2025, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements.
- Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience.
