About the division:
At the heart of Deutsche Bank’s client franchise is the Corporate Bank, a market leader in Cash Management, FX Risk Management, Lending, Trade Finance and Trust and Agency Services. Within each area you will have the opportunity to perform multiple roles such as Sales, Product Management, Client Service & Delivery or Business Management.About the team:
- Our Corporate Coverage team provides clients with holistic solutions to meet their strategic objectives – with full access across the Corporate Bank’s product suite as well as the expertise of the Investment Bank.

Our Trade Finance & Lending supports corporate clients with cross-border business as well as domestic trade finance and lending activities, solutions are related to imports, exports or domestic trade transactions. TFIL offers products and solutions for every stage of a client’s trade value chain such as Letter of Credits, Bank Guarantees and Supply Chain Finance products with the aim to optimize the working capital structure.
About the role:
Your training starts with an invaluable Global induction that will give you a broad understanding of our business. Our senior leadership will share their vision for Deutsche Bank with you.
After that you will participate in our Divisional Technical Training and Professional Skills Training followed by a 12 month comprehensive continuous learning journey, with opportunities for networking throughout and a supportive wellbeing programme.

Coverage:
As a Junior Coverage Banker (JCB), you will support senior Coverage Bankers in managing key client relationships and delivering high quality client coverage. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely client analysis, compiling competitor and market intelligence, and producing pitch books and other client materials. You will actively support the senior Coverage Bankers with selling Corporate Bank products and originating new clients and transactions, be part of deal teams that work closely with our product partners across the Corporate Bank and Investment Bank, and be involved in actions that improve the profitability of the client portfolio. The role offers the opportunity to participate in client meetings and pitches, providing you with direct exposure to clients and contributing to the development of long term client relationships.
Trade Finance and Lending:
Trade Finance & Lending Sales originates and executes bank guarantee and lending facilities, export credit agency, natural resources, working capital and renewables financings for large corporate clients and subsidiaries of the banks international clients. The role will support the team to originate, structure and execute the transactions, requiring collaboration with global and regional teams. This will include the preparation of term sheets/ pricing, conducting detailed due diligence and working with financial models to prepare credit proposals, supporting the implementation of the transaction and ongoing monitoring of the portfolio.

We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable with excellent communication skills. They have degrees in many different disciplines. Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background. Our comprehensive training programmes will give you all the technical knowledge you’ll need to build a career with us.
To be eligible for the 2027 Graduate Programme you must:
• Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st January 2026 and 31st January 2027.
• Be able to start full time work in February 2027, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements.
• Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience.
