Deutsche Bank Research is responsible for financial, strategic, and macroeconomic analysis within the Deutsche Bank Group, covering global markets as well as a wide range of investment strategies. We monitor developments, technologies, and innovations relevant to the bank in financial markets, the economy, and society, assess their opportunities and risks, and advise our clients, the bank, and a variety of stakeholders. Deutsche Bank Research produces high-quality, independent analysis and actively contributes to the public discussion on a wide range of topics.
The FICC Research – Credit Strategy team focuses on the analysis of global credit markets across Investment Grade (IG) and High Yield (HY) with team members in London, Frankfurt and New York. We analyse the impact of macroeconomic as well as corporate developments on European and US corporate bond markets. That includes publishing spread forecasts, sector level recommendations and views on credit curves, helping clients to navigate an asset class that is highly sensitive to both risk sentiment and the rates market. We also work closely with Credit Sales & Trading and other stakeholders within the global investment bank.
About your role:
In this Frankfurt based role, you will support the Credit Strategy team in developing market views, strategies, and new ideas. The role’s focus is on European credit, but it will also provide exposure to US credit too. You will work on real-time credit market topics analysing market data, monitoring macro and rates developments. The role requires very strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, an interest in financial markets and good excellent communications skills. You will learn from experienced strategists, develop both professionally and personally, and build a strong foundation for a future career in markets or research.

• Approaching the end of a degree in economics, finance, or a related quantitative discipline
• Strong interest in financial markets, especially fixed income and credit
• Solid quantitative foundation and confidence in handling complex numerical data, ideally with sound knowledge in a programming language (Python) knowledge
• Relevant practical experience (banking, capital markets, finance, or related)
• Excellent MS Excel skills and practical experience in developing AI-based tools
• Very strong communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken)Your Benefits:
